Accidental Damage Insurance

Accidental damage provides additional protection above that provided by the fire section.  It provides cover for sudden and unforeseen loss or damage.

The types of claims that can occur under this section include;

  • Customer/staff inadvertently bumping a display cabinet causing it to topple over destroying all the stock contained in the cabinet.
  • Mounting bracket holding a plasma TV to the wall fails and the TV drops to the floor.
  • Dropping a cup of coffee onto your computer/printer/fax machine.

Some policies will automatically provide full cover for accidental damage, others will require the cover to be added and a sum insured nominated.
