Electronic Equipment Insurance

Depending on your particular business you may have a high exposure and reliance on Electronic Equipment.

Similar to Machinery Breakdown the Electronic Equipment policy covers the costs of repair to insured equipment in the event of a breakdown.

Typically this cover is taken to cover computer equipment, however it can also be used in manufacturing industries where a large amount of the machinery operates with computer chips and design.

This policy can also be extended to include;

  • Restoration of data ie reprogramming the equipment and reinstalling files
  • Increase Costs ie Hire of replacement equipment, payment of overtime to staff.
