Money Insurance

Cover can be obtained for theft of money.  The cover can include

  • Money on your premises in normal business hours,
  • Money in transit on the way to the bank or home,
  • Money at your home overnight/weekend
  • Money on the premises outside business hours.

Its important to build into the cover an increase in cover for peak periods ie Christmas or in the case of a newsagent the “Birthday Lotto Draws” when the cash taken and held by the business increases considerably.

It is also important to review banking processes from a risk management point of view.
