Industrial Special Risks Insurance

An Industrial Special Risks policy is a broad property policy wording that is tailored and adapted specifically to a clients individual needs.

This policy is used where there are high value assets over $1,000,000 and/or multiple locations or occupations.

The policy has two sections, the first being physical loss or damage to property which is then tailored with individual limits for covers such as Accidental Damage, Burglary, money and just about any other cover that is requitred.

The second section relates to Business Interruption or loss of profit, which is again tailored to the individual needs of the policyholder.

With such a broad base wording, it is extremely important that the actual tailoring of the cover through the use of endorsements is managed by an individual with the correct technical knowledge to ensure that they do not inadvertently diminish the cover.
