1. Notify Austbrokers Southern

Please never admit to fault or liability when involved with another party in an accident as this may put your claim at risk. All you need to do is say you will contact your insurance company. Then call us on 1300 662 772 to advise us of the loss or incident. Any undue delay in contacting us may affect the claim.

2. Prevent Further Loss

Take all reasonable action to salvage, prevent further loss, damage or interruption.

3. Preserve Evidence

Preserve physical evidence or loss or damage to allow for assessors from your insurance company to carry out assessments. In the event that urgent repairs need to be undertaken please retain all parts/property.  Please do not dispose of any stock or plant with out prior consent of us or your insurer.

4. Provide Assistance

With our dedicated Claims Team, we aim to assist in every step of your claim providing unbiased information, advice and negotiations. Our senior staff has both broking and underwriter experience allowing for a better understanding and interpretation of policies.

5. Settlement Process

We will work closely with you to and act on your behalf to work towards an outcome of settling your claim.
